Construction is moving fast at the future home of Bailey’s Sports, and the latest progress on site is bringing the vision for our new campus one big step closer to reality.

From foundation prep and rebar installation to structural steel and large-scale site work, there has been a lot happening across the property. Every update is starting to show the size, layout, and future potential of what Bailey’s Sports will become.

The Future Campus Is Taking Shape

One of the most exciting parts of this latest construction update is being able to see the footprint of the future facility coming together.

Across the site, crews have been working on:

• Foundation preparation
• Rebar installation
• Concrete formwork
• Site grading
• Utility and trench work
• Structural steel installation
• Large open slab areas for the future building

These steps may not always look flashy, but they are some of the most important parts of the entire construction process. This is the work that creates the strong foundation for everything still to come.

Foundation and Slab Prep Are Well Underway

A major portion of the site is now covered with rebar grids and concrete forms, giving a clear look at where the future building areas will be.

This stage is all about precision. Crews are preparing large sections of the ground so the next phases of construction can move forward smoothly. Seeing this much of the layout in place is a huge milestone, especially because it gives the first real sense of the size and scale of the Bailey’s Sports facility.

Structural Steel Is Going Up

Another big update is the progress on the steel structure.

In the latest construction views, steel columns and beams are now visible, helping outline the future shape of the building. This is one of the most exciting phases to watch because the project starts to feel less like a construction site and more like an actual facility.

The frame gives a first look at just how large this space will be once completed.

Site Work Is Happening Across the Property

Beyond the main building areas, crews have also been working throughout the property on grading, trenching, and preparation for future utilities and structural support.

From above, you can really see how much planning goes into a project of this size. Large sections of the property have been shaped, leveled, and prepared as the campus continues moving forward.

Current site work includes:

• Long footing and trench sections
• Excavated areas for future structural components
• Graded areas around the building footprint
• Equipment access paths
• Prep work for future concrete and utility installation

It is a lot of behind-the-scenes work, but it is what makes the next big construction milestones possible.

What This Means for Bailey’s Sports

This first phase of construction is helping create the future home of Bailey’s Sports, a new multi-sport facility built to serve kids, families, and athletes across Central Oregon.

Once complete, Bailey’s Sports will create more space and more opportunities for programs like:

• Cheer
• Volleyball
• Ninja
• Action Sports
• Preschool
• Camps
• Birthday parties
• Youth sports and fitness programs

The goal has always been to build more than just a gym. Bailey’s Sports is being built as a place where kids can move, grow, build confidence, try new sports, and find a community that supports them.
