What Will Bailey’s Sports Actually Look Like?

As excitement builds around Bailey’s Sports, one of the most common questions we hear is:

“What exactly is being built… and when?!”

Bailey’s Sports will roll out in two phases, creating a unified multi-sport campus designed to serve families across Bend, Redmond, Sisters, and greater Central Oregon.

Here’s exactly what that means:

Phase 1: Expansion + A New Indoor Action Sports Hub

Phase 1 officially begins with construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art Bailey’s Sports facility on Bend’s north end.

The New Bailey’s Sports Facility

(Approx. 45,700+ sq. ft.)

This building will become the new home of Central Oregon Gymnastics Academy (COGA) and expand programming significantly.

COGA will move into this new facility and continue offering:

This move allows us to expand capacity, reduce waitlists, and serve more families than ever before. Our current facility is at capacity, and this expansion is the next step in meeting the growing demand for quality youth sports in Central Oregon.

What Happens to the Current COGA Building on Layton Ave?

Once COGA moves into the new Bailey’s Sports facility, the existing Layton Avenue building will transition into:

Truckstop Skatepark (Powered by Bailey’s Sports)

(Approx. 8,200+ sq. ft.)

This will become a dedicated indoor action sports facility featuring:

For years, Truckstop Action Sports has partnered with Bend Parks & Rec to run outdoor camps seasonally. Phase 1 changes that.

This means year-round indoor riding in Central Oregon… Rain, snow, smoke, or shine!

Phase 1 alone dramatically increases access to both traditional and action sports while operating out of two locations:

Phase 2: Unifying the Campus & Expanding Action Sports

After Phase 1 is successfully launched and established, Phase 2 will complete the vision.

Phase 2 adds a 22,800+ sq. ft. world-class indoor skatepark and Ninja Warrior training facility adjacent to the new Bailey’s Sports building.

This facility will be designed by world-renowned skatepark engineer Dug Ketterman, known his park designs featured in the Olympics, X Games, Dew Tour, and Nitro Circus.

What Phase 2 Brings:

At that point, Truckstop Skatepark operations will move from the Layton Avenue location onto the main Bailey’s Sports campus, bringing everything together in one place.

We’ll continue sharing updates, milestone announcements, and behind-the-scenes progress as we move forward!
