The weather’s turning fast here in Central Oregon. The temps are dropping, the rain is rolling in and before we know it, snow will be blanketing everything from Bend to Redmond. Every skate, scooter and BMX family knows what that means. It’s about to get tougher and tougher to ride. Once the wet season hits, the local outdoor parks become slick, cold and mostly off limits. For a place that gets rain and snow up to seven months of the year, not having a great indoor skatepark option has always been one of the biggest frustrations for our community.
That’s why we’re so excited about what’s ahead. Bailey’s Sports & Truck Stop Action Sports is bringing Central Oregon the facilities our action sports community truly needs and deserves. Our Phase 1 indoor skatepark is slated to open late 2026 and it’s going to be a game changer.
What’s Coming
Our Phase 1 skatepark will feature:
- Instructional and progression-focused classes for kids ages 2 and up
- Weekly open ride sessions for all age groups from young riders to seasoned adults
- A community-centered space where riders can stay active, improve their skills and stay connected all year long
This will be the first step toward building a true hub for the Central Oregon skate, scooter and BMX scene, a place designed to grow with the community.
We can’t wait to roll open the doors and see everyone riding year round no matter what the weather’s doing outside.
